In Seine Assize Court Paris Albert Grégoire the house painter with his mother and Iyeshayes faced charges of abandoning and causing death to infant Pierre. The Public Prosecutor urged harsh penalties and the jury found all three guilty. Grégoire received life penal servitude while the two women were sentenced to five years.
