Late tonight Lieut Seracold of HMS Jason arrived at Plymouth with details of a convoy from St Helena. The Romney and two homeward Indiamen along with five Dutch ships and three victuallers were guarded by Commodore Johnstone. One Indiaman ran leaky and may lose cargo.
