Fete Bridge Parties Raise Funds for St Marys and Ambulance Aid
At Kangaroo Point and City Hall last evening, St Marys Church of England fete committee hosted a bridge event in Room 6 National Mutual Building with about 45 tables, floral chrysanthemums, and hosted by president Mrs J Norman Osborn. Supper by St Marys Ladies Guild followed. A separate bridge and cachre party for the Ambulance Ladies Social Committee filled the City Hall Lady Mayoress's Room with about 20 tables, blue sash frocks, and overseen by president Mrs E H George, with euchre led by Mrs W Todhunter and refreshments by Mesdames Bolger Ranahan and Trotter.
