Accident at cinema as operator falls from box
Noel Bowditch aged 22 a film operator at Nannup cinema fell twelve feet while leaving the operating box on Saturday night. He carried reels weighing about 70 lb and was injured in the head and ankle before being taken to Nannup Hospital.
