Balingup Community Notes From A Large Weekend
A busy Balingup weekend report covers a foul pool odor traced to decaying cobbler remains and a large carp, plus crowd concerns about crude language at a Sunday football match. It notes a golden wedding celebration for Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Blight, a farm-life student exchange, local residents moving homes, hospital visits, and a busy market day with prices and buyers including Elder Smith and Co. A dozen local social events, charity trips, and school group activities are summarized with various residents and organizations named.
