No Water For Town Residents
The Manjimup Road Board reported that two residents, J. G. Cooper and L. God ley, cannot be connected to the town water mains because they lie outside the gazetted water area. Extending mains would be costly, with an estimated £1200 for a direct connection, and the Water Board Committee noted no power to fund such extensions. The Board left open the possibility of later extending the gazetted area to cover the townsite.
