Inquest Opened Into Balingup Man's Death
The inquest into the death of twenty four year old Stanley James Perejuan killed in a truck accident near Balingup on May 3 opened at Bridge town. Evidence was taken from Police Sergeant Nichols Dr Giverdon and Sc Baskerville and the enquiry adjourned to Balingup on Wednesday.

A milk truck driven by Mick O'Sullivan skidded on a rut near Knapton's on Southamption Road last Tuesday morning and overturned. O'Sullivan suffered severe bruising and shock while learner driver John Walpole was shaken and also shocked. The vehicle sustained major damage with front wheels torn off.

Outward Buses Fully Loaded in South West Service
Buses replacing passenger trains in the South West ran at full capacity since inception on Monday. Most Bunbury passengers originated from Bridgetown with an emergency bus sent to Bridgetown to meet demand. The Bridgetown bus filled instantly while the incoming bus carried only two travelers, followed by a luggage truck.
