Hormone weed killer on trial at Manjimup Road Board

Mr E R Heath reported that a hormone type weed killer showed no apparent effect on Patterson's Curse in the current season. It was noted the method may work next year during the growing period when leaves and stems are soft, as most weeds are then smaller. The board discussed a Noxious Weeds Act interpretation and that Roads Boards must first handle their own duties before enforcing destruction by occupiers. Heath said he had not been approached by the work supervisor about weed destruction, due to being busy with rabbits, and would contact Mr Doust when the time is right.
