Manjimup RSLA Delegates Nominated for State Congress
Three Manjimup RSL delegates were nominated to represent the sub branch at the 30th State Congress. A. Faulks L. Thompson and L. Sims were named as delegates with two more to be chosen by the management committee at their next meeting. The session, led by senior vice president Steve ONeill, covered committee reports and welcomed new member K. Chrisp. Visitors included Roy Norgard Bert Baker and Hill.

At Boyup Brook Golf Club a 36 hole stroke event drew a large field on blighted fairways. Fred Proctor led with 64 and 74 for 138, while many rivals posted high counts amid tough, waterlogged greens and a light afternoon shower.
Boyup Brook and Donnybrook Clash In First Inter Town Match
A pleasant day at Donnybrook saw Boyup Brook Hockey Club visit on Sunday August 10. Donnybrook led 1 0 at ten minutes and increased to a two goal lead by halftime. After the break, both sides pressed but scored only rarely. Boyup Brook’s Hannan and Miller starred while captain Muriel Hull led the team in its first inter town match.

The Boyup Repertory Club gathered on the evening of the 7th with Dr. Stenning reappointed as chair and director. E J Morris was re elected secretary. Three committees were formed for Business Production and Property. The debut post mortem drew general approval and officials were thanked for their service.
