Town valuations rise after council re valuation in 1048
A special meeting of the Tewen Town Commune approved a town wide re valuation showing an overall 17 percent rise from £65 009 to £80 875 effective July 1 1948. Valuator Mr Quilter defended method noting rises reflect fair market values and urged owners to appeal if needed.
