Veteran officer Lovatt’s Horse linked to Royal Scots post war
A historical notice recounts a officer's service from Lovatt's Horse to the Royal Scots, his adjutancy offer amid officer shortages, and frontline action with the 5th Royal Kents. It covers his medical commission, two mentions for gallantry, nine months leave, and postwar medical and hospital work in Scotland, Norwich, and Pitkington. He later returned to Sydney and joined the worm campaign before resuming work in Mackay Hospital and private practice.
