Shire Council Meets Over Soldiers' Road Maintenance

The Shire Council discussed extending maintenance on Soldiers' Road with offers to keep it in order for £44 yearly. District engineers recommended continuing surface work on Bowen Delta and Bowen Laverden roads, with the council pressing for permission to carry out further maintenance and to recondition the surface every three weeks, deemed excessive.
