Victorian Lands Dept offers large Back to the Land settlement blocks
The Victorian Lands Department announced a major Back to the Land settlement in north eastern Gippsland. About 39 000 acres in Tubbut country will be available for selection mostly as grazing land with closer settlement terms sought. Blocks vary from 1014 to 1875 acres valued mainly under £1000, deposits range from £20 to £54, instalments £18 to £49 13s, and applications are now invited.
