Cathcart Lion Committee Heifer Won by Mrs Gaunson
The heifer donated by Mr J Boland to the Cathcart Lion Committee was won by Mrs W Gaunson. Ivy and Jean McMahon left for Sydney to play in country week hockey tournaments. Delegates hockey players played Onihead on the local ground in Lansing ending in a Beall draw. The football patch between Bonita and Qatheart second grade teams last Saturday was a clean open match. In the second half J Taylor scored for Cathcart but Boland failed to convert, final score 3 to nil.
