The Hospital Queen Competition closed at Olympia Hall with candidates Miss Misa Ethel Kelland and Miss Kathleen M Goldrick. Matron Lowrey resigned. Miss Goldrick led after a social that drew a large crowd and raised funds for the Hospital and Friendly Societies.
The Bombala branch held its monthly meeting with strong turnout and Edith Garnock presiding in the absence of the President. A letter from the Bombala Chamber of Commerce seeking transport for school children was approved for cooperation. Rest Rooms rules were adopted and funds raised by the Sweet Ball were reported as 8 pounds 5 shillings 7 pence with many donations and new members enrolled.
