News covers hospital funds, local transport changes, a death in Cathcart and holiday cinema at the Olympia with several showings.
The Director General of Public Health Sydney Morris reports monthly activity for the Baby Health Centre. Attendance figures show 48 total attendances including mothers, with 24 daily average. babies weighed 41, test meals given 1, expectant mothers advised 1. Age groups include infants under one year 28, under two years 12, under three years 4.
The Begas Annual Raes lists handicaps for main races set for January. Notable horses include Nord, Riposte, Lucky Kid, Sunup, Jim Ayres, Sky Brightener, Morrinee, Meadow, Capmah, Ernundrak, and Robert Clive with varied figures across Plate and Cup events.
