The Commissioner approved the Saturday stock trail aiding stock landings in Sydney for Monday sales and praised the Tramway Band’s help at the Trospits Carnival. He noted the carnival’s fundraising nearing £2600 over two years.
A committee meeting reported good attendance despite the President’s illness. The Hospital Carnival Committee received ground and buildings access for Carnival Day. A £2 deposit guarantee was set for show ground upkeep. The Society showed a £120 profit last Shaw with £190 balance, £245 spent on improvements. S.M.R. Football Union requested ground use payable at £1 per match. A new brick pavilion was proposed, with a mortgage backed by personal guarantees from Garnock, Shaw, and Sautelle. Tendering will start once Piarce finalizes specifications.
