South-West Zone Committee Set For Bridgetown Meeting
The Development Committee, after visiting several South-West races, will meet in Bridgetown on Sunday and Monday October 16 and 47 to study local conditions. It aims to advise government on best district development, essential needs, and a long range plan for the lower South-West. Members come from across the district and will gather input from chambers of commerce farmers unions progress associations parents and citizens associations and other bodies to form a composite view.

The death occurred last weekend of Robert George Evans aged 64 a respected Bridgetown resident. He had been in declining health for some time and died while his family were alerted in Kalgoorlie. Water Power Scheme Debate on Wellington Dam
