Progress On Tin Property At Western Queen Mine

Reported progress at the Western Queen tin property includes laying a honey pipe from the dam to the pumping station, a suction line installation, and the travel pump with electric motor assembled. The rock breaker foundation is done, the mill wheel and vibration screen erected, and a wooden screen structure 12.7 by 18 feet nearly complete. A diesel engine and pump supply water from Wentralla Gully with 800 feet of 3 inch piping laid, while a 10,000 gallon steel water tank is being erected.

Merry Party Ends Packing Season at Tropical Traders

A merry gathering at Tropical Traders and the packing shed marked the season end. Arith Corvas judged the season’s test learner packer with Mr Bol Long close behind.
