Mothers' Day at Bowling Club Brindle Hosts Indies Honor

Bridgetown Country Women’s Association Exhibition Results

Members attending the Bridgetown CWA meeting under Mrs Faithful noted a second annual exhibition and sale raised about 24 pounds. Half goes to the association’s trade and half to candidate Wally Meuron in the Del Meo’s Competition for the Hospital Appeal. The president thanked helpers and loaners of antiques and praised the state schol children. a donation of 4 pounds was sent to the school. Proceeds from recent card evenings added 26 pounds 16 shillings to Meares’s Ugly Men’s total. A ceremonial day on May 22 was planned with state president Mrs William declining to attend.

Restoration Plan for Old Bridgetown Cemetery

The Church of England Vestry forms a two part plan to curb decay and preserve graves at Old Bridgetown Cemetery.
