Grand Old Men of Blackwood Mr W Bailey of Ne ton Balingup
Mr W Bailey of Ne ton Balingup long a district resident active in dairying and bowling. He recalls the Donnybrook Gold Rush and ran 150 men clearing in Margaret River country. Once given weeks to live, he survived. Walter has travelled extensively and just returned from Queensland where his eldest daughter practices accountancy. He married in 1907, has five sons and four daughters. two daughters are married.
