All are of Leavenworth.Mrs. Ash is moving from Leavenworth to Ontario, Canada, where her husband, a colonel in the United States Army, will be Stationed.Lawrence adult Scouts acted as hostesses for the occasion for all registered adults in District III. Mrs. Robert Lockwood, district chairman, was in charge of arrangements. She was assisted by Neighborhood chairmen, Mrs. Kenneth Lenzen, Mrs. Calder Pickett, Mrs. L. E. Bice and Mrs. H. D. Remple.Guests attended from ValleyFalls and Baldwin.Hamblin’s home included members of the KU Geology Department staff and wives of. graduate students.The gifts were presented in a bassinet. The table centerpiece was a crystal punch bowl filled with green colored water on which floated plastic bath toy ducks, which were given to Mrs. Langford. Pink carnations surrounded the bowl and pink candles to finish the setting.Mrs. S. R.
