Baby Shower Honors Infant Son Mother IDaniel J. Costello, | month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Costello and ( his mother, were honor- | ed at a layette shower lt;on Friday, Feb. 28 at the First Southern Baptist Church fellowship hall.Hostesses for the evening affair were his aunt, Mrs. W. R. Stark and great aunt, Mrs. Keith Watson.Decorating the socialhall with pale yellow and blue streamers on the tables and toy cars spaced at various places along the streamers were Linda Preston and Cecilia Tori-giani. Included in the decorations was a layette centerpiece with tablecloth to match on the gift table.The refreshment cake that was served was decorated with blue and yellow frosting trimmed in white with yellow booties on it carrying out the color scheme of the even-ing. Along with the cake, lemonade with blue ice, coffee, nuts and mints were served the guests.Special guests for the shower were Daniel’s grandmothers, Mrs. D.W. Costello and Mrs. J.C. Sherrell. His great grandmother, Mrs. Ralph Cope from Mendota was also present.Mrs. Harold Reimer was the door prize winner. Stork game winners were Mrs. lsaoeueCromwell, Mrs. Florence Adams, Miss Phyllis Sherrell and Miss Judy Adams.Becoming acquainted with little Daniel were, Mrs. Belton Banks, Mrs, Nick Nusz, Mrs. Vern Morgan, Mrs. Lee Meel-er, Mrs. Richard Escalante, Mrs. Leon Morgan, Mrs. Frank Preston, Mrs. Paul Ratzlaff, Mrs.- JL 1 mmr*. - P ^ *»n a i v7iu nn «r ......^Also the Misses Phyllis Sherrell, Linda Preston, Linda Hensley, Kathy Preston, Pat Morgan, Judy Adams and Sandy Siemens.Out-of-town guests included Mrs. Paul Sherrell, Wasco;Mrs. I dward Adams, Earlimart; Mrs. Clyde Duggan, Bakersfield; Mrs. Isabelle Cromwell, Mendota and Miss Cecilia Torigiani,Buttonwillow.Those unable to attend but sending gifts were .
