Top billing of the week goes to Mrs. Nettie Smith who has been a Pony Creet resident for many years. She will be 99 years old next Saturday- the 22nd of January.Two sons still live near her, and I believe it is a great-granddaughter who lives near enough to be of some help and comfort lately.The years have come and gone, also prosperous and lean times, and many Presidents who oratorically painted a bright picture of the future to the waiting world. She seemed quite aware of life's responsibilities and dedicated wife and mother- as she was- finally had to slow down and take to her chair and bed.With love and best wishes from many who know her, may she be comfortable, and with plenty of rest and kindly attention from others, reach the next birthday when she will rate the CENTERIAN CROWN.it’ j!.! _ .
