STRICT SECURITY MEASURESConnally, Texas Leaders Arrive For Laredo Fete(By The Associated Frew) ,LAREDO (AP)-Gov. John Connally and a large delegation of state officials flew here Friday to join Laredo's annual Washington’s Birthday Celebration, an American observance which takes on a Mexican flavor at the border town.Security measures were strict, but a rumored demonstration did not materialize.Gov. and Mrs. Connally were greeted at the Laredo Air Force Base by Laredo Mayor J. C. Martin, Webb County Judge Roberto Benavides, and other city and county officials.Those accompanying Con-nally on, the flight from Austin were House Speaker Ben Barnes, Sec. of State John Hill, Department of Public Safety Director Col. Homer Garrison, Atty, Gen. Crawford Martin, former Atty. Gen. Waggoner Carr and a group of Supreme Court justices, state representatives and Senators.U. S. Rep.
