Vernon, Ind., are visiting her aged mother, Mrs. Margaret Miller, and brother, Tine Miller, and family.On Wednesday, July 2.rith Mrs. Seward Melton entertained at dinner in honor of her daughter Ruth, it being her Mil birthday. Those present were: Virgin Cotner, lone Hartley, IrmaDuggins, Patsy Melton, Lucile Back-herms. Leota and Olive Melton. 'At 12 o’clock the little girls enjoyed a good dinner. The afternoon was spent in playing games, playing the organ,! eating peanuts and drinking lemonade. | All had a good time and left wishing Ruth many more happy birthdays.The basket dinner i t Smith’s (’amp Ground Sunday, was argelv attended. Several came from ew Middletown, Laeonia, Fairview, Oorydon. New Albany and Louisville, and elsewhere. Rev. Youngblood and Rev. Eisnmn were present. Rev. Youngblood delivered a splendid sermon in the fore- j noon. The afternoon was spent in testimony meeting and special songs.
