School lost one Fahsbender last fall when Kenneth Fahsbender, muaic instructor. transferred to South High School, but gained another whenDal* Fah*b*nd*rDale Fahsbender. his brother, accepted a teaching position at Shafter.Dale Fahsbender came to California from Pontiac, Illinois, where he attended grade school and high school. During his years in high school he was a member of the National Honor Society. Illi- -nois, before coming to San Diego where he taught for one year He taught last year at Mt Whitney High School in Visalia and then last fall accepted a position al Shafter High School.In 1947 he married his wife Mary Lou, and the couple have two boys. Fahsbender plays the piano and is interested in all types of athletics. At Shafter High School he teaches algebra and plane geometry and coaches the MC football team and the freshman baseball squad.When asked to state his im pression of Shafter High School, he had this to say.
