Drunk Man Hanged At Wangaratta Court
Frederick Soa was hanged at the Wangaratta Police Court on Monday after being charged with drunkenness on licensed premises during prohibited hours. Constable Mallow and Sergeant Beckwith testified about Soa’s intoxication at the Horse and Jockey Hotel. The bench sentenced him with a warning about harsher penalties on a future offense.
