A multi-vehicle crash near Win grear left Sergeant of Brighton, Blanche Sencant, and others injured. The Ford car overturned after a tyre failure. two cars collided, one bonnet dented. The Sergeant and his wife and two children were hospitalized but reportedly improving. they planned to leave hospital the next day.
The Blind concert at Shire Hall Tuesday evening drew a large crowd. Benalla secretary B S Alexander sent a cheque for £146 to Melbourne representing net proceeds and credited Arthur Harris for his volunteers in ticket sales and effort.
