Ratepayer Seeks Clarification Over Subdivision Plan
Mr. Waters challenged the council after subdividing land into four lift blocks to a depth of 122 feet. Contracts were cancelled as the council claimed land was acquired for a road spoiling his block. The mayor said no plan had been submitted and nothing could proceed until a new plan is filed. The council will advise Waters of intended acquisitions via the engineer and start the subdivision scheme from scratch.
