Official Opening Of Benalla Links Marks Start Of Season
Upward of 60 members and associates joined the official opening of the Benalla links on Saturday afternoon. A four ball better-ball was won by J Gleeson and V Toohey, 2 up. Mrs Morks and Mme Perrin won the Camdellen foursomes, 60-15-45 over 12 holes. Club president T Clarke declared the season open and noted rent costs, membership decline, and the push to keep the course open for service members at Renalla. Proceeds to the Patriotic Fund. thanks to associates president Miss Wann and helpers.
