Dr. Roy Millard and Dr. Colsi lead a push for a firm council stance against establishing a rubbish tip beside the pine plantation near Salisbury Street. The council, with support from Fire Brigade Chief Brock, carried the motion to object, warning the tip could menace the plantation edge and burn underground.
