A van carrying furniture for Mr and Mrs Farnell from Benalla to Yen burned out near Seymour. The vehicle owned by Stoltze and Chiswell was destroyed with several hundred pounds in losses. Passengers affected included the Farnell couple and postal clerk transfer noted.
