Farewell to J P Cusack in Bega farewell event

A large crowd gathered at St Patrick's Hall on a Monday evening to bid farewell to Mr J P Cusack who departs for Sydney to pursue priestly studies. Speakers praised his choir work and loyalty to the Rovers Club while Father Gunning presented a travelling bag and wished him success in his future. Cusack thanked the community, hoped to return as a priest, and recalled his Bega roots as dancing and supper followed the formalities.
