Fragmentary note references a budget item titled Tihe Bega Budget and NCHA 2p with unclear context. Reads as a brief, with mis-typed names and lost surrounding details.
A chaotic voice trembles through the text debating Britain's defense and imperial power. The piece surveys German aggression, Allied responses, and the world’s drift toward widespread conflict, naming Britain, Germany, and the United States while weighing military mobilization and arbitration prospects. It references the scale of naval powers and cautions about the peril facing nations as tensions escalate.
The report lists boxing day trials at Woluuile range with a team of eight riders, a protracted program at Tathre, and wind affecting local rifle events. It mentions Cup and Plate acceptances, several named participants, and a cricket association fee reduction. Also notes a coach, a hospital update, and teacher conference discussions amid other local sports notices.
A garbled report from a Bega District event lists Cup and Plate races with handicaps and entries. Numerous horses and jockeys are mentioned in a sequence of race names such as 1 mile and 240 yard sprints, with names including Satin, Flying Walter, Lady Whitton, and Light Brigade among others, though many words are jumbled.
