Outlaws Triumph Over 72nd Battalion In Lopsided Hockey Tilt

Eagle Hills Rural Telephone Co to hold annual meeting
The Eagle Hills Rural Telephone Co plans its annual meeting at the schoolhouse on Friday evening February 23 at 8 p.m. Gid Jackson has been hauling hay at his Prongua ranch as part of a physical exercise course. A National Service Board formed at Cut Knife will organize local service leagues in Prongua district and Drummond Creek district to control and distribute labor.

Local Bakery Destroyed by Fire
At about 1 o clock Sunday the premises occupied by G. Harrison as a bakery in the old ore hall building were discovered on fire and gutted before the fire brigade arrived. The loss includes nearly all equipment with no insurance. Origin of the fire is unknown. Harrison is sourcing bread from a north town firm and has not decided his future. Also news that Lieut. A. B. White, long known in North Battleford, is recovering in a London hospital from shrapnel wounds and expects to take leave to Canada when fit.

Military hospital proposed in Central School building
