Battle River council notes meeting in Battleford

The Battle River No 438 council met in Battleford on Tuesday December 10 with all members present. Communications included J H Nelson not owning NE 48 183 and Department of Agriculture reseeding and Municipal Affairs aiding farmers to secure seed grain. The secretary was to inform resident farmers how to obtain assistance. J A Nelson spoke about a portion of his salary deduction. The council refused no te receipt and empowered to place running license for reeve services as offered by retiring reeve Scott. Meeting adjourned to June 6 at 1 pm.

Town Council Minutes Discuss Taxes and Public Health

The meeting reviewed a tax rebate request for W Laurie for 1917 18 as no law practice occurred. Officials considered public health guidance on influenza vaccines and hospital lighting costs with a total hospital setup and operation spend of 727.66 and earnings 887.25, 147.50 unpaid.
