Officers and soldiers of the Barrie corps promote a Harvest Festival to raise 75 dollars for Army work. Goods including fruit vegetables grain groceries and dry items will be sold at the barracks on Monday Sept 23 with an entertaining program by Adjt Burrows and his wife. Six Barriettes visited Bradford Friday for a tense tennis test with locals. Closely fought results favored Barrie by narrow margins due to unfamiliar clay courts. Singles pace delayed a second doubles, won by Beecroft and Plummer who defeated Stewart and Hill.
