Joseph Emms and Charles Church of Edgar won a major lawsuit against J M Ross & Sons over a faulty traction engine. The November Brampton trial ruled in their favor with full costs and a $890 counterclaim. The Divisional Court upheld the decision, dismissing Ross's appeal with costs.
