Decree Notice in Chancery Case Involving Joseph Dare

Minting Designs Presented to King in Council 1825

From the London Gazette June 18 1825 notices the King in Council receiving a representation from Thomas Wallace Master of the Mint dated April 29 proposing new effigies for coinage. He submits altered designs for gold and silver pieces and seeks the Majesty's approbation for the obverse and reverse images to be struck on the coinage.
