A garbled 1911 notice references the Commercial Hotel and Blables in Bacchus, asking for information about a person named LESLIE EXELL and offering payment for details. It mentions addresses, tender, and a request for particulars to be applied by a certain date. The legibility is poor with many misspellings.
A fragmented critique discusses Australian water management from Bacchus Marsh to Ballanes, citing costs for aqueducts, impounding reservoirs, and riverworks. It references Lordly proposals, names like Dr. Dethridge and Mr Murray, and notes a shift in funds and leadership as plans for a major irrigation and town drainage project unfold.
The report details street channel swaps hindered by rough surfaces and minimal use of a broom to clear gutters. It notes council concerns over labor, tree pruning, and the need for water carts, with calls to limit external influence on tree removal and to base decisions on proper equipment and local manpower.
A garbled report describes shopfronts on a busy street with window displays, goods, and local figures. It mentions Bumond, Pine, and several named people, notes on damage and repair, and references to a public interest event and nearby landmarks. The piece reads like a crowded crime of the week column with scattered proper nouns.
An OCR fragment outlines a sprawling, confusing report with mentions of hay stocks, committees, hotels, and local figures. It references a ward or district scene with various names and places, but unreadable phrases hinder concrete events or outcomes.
Garbled report from Werribee describes harvest activity disrupting cod operations and affecting local gear. No clear dates or entities are readable in the fragment.
