Water Trust works target pumping plant and elevated tank
The proposal to upgrade water supply aims to power a pumping plant capable of filling the reservoir and irrigation channel when gravity fails from November to March. A secondary plan seeks a small elevated tank above the existing reservoir, filled by pump, with overflow to the serving reservoir. Authorities contemplate directing the outlet to Me Lingley Bridge and a separate main for higher Kyanns, amid taxation unrest and electoral spending debates.
