Steinber Eiriksson son of Steinber in Faskrudsfjordur to hold painting

Steinber Eiriksson's two sons and others plan a four‑day piano singing event at the community hall in Skrié Faskriés four mornings Saturday and Sunday. The painting is a solo performance. Steinber will not present to Austfjording as he is serving as a mechanic at Egilsstadir and due to his work. He has traveled little from home, but leaving his job due to health, he aims to devote more time to painting and has strong ambition. He has held painting contests here in the east and in Reykjavik, returning last autumn when he sang in Flugleida. The image shows Steinber’s sons beside a large painting in the hall of the new frozen fish plant at the station, while the painting was made for the opening of the Jess.
