Wayside Jottings Juvenile Nightlife and Gossip

A chaotic vignette depicts a juvenile audience and a comedian journalist scene. The text threads through a street mood with a debate about maturity and propriety, mentioning a professor, a boy named Tam, a bishop, and a humorous encounter at a social event. An editor explains circulation and humor, while a journalist mocks pretensions and romance in a bustling public setting.
