Mrs. Bertha Clark of Lake* niece of both Mr. and Mrs. Whaley acted as flower girl and strewed fall flowers and oak leaves along the pathway to the altar where the bride* on the arm of her nephew, Rollain Sowle, of Eaton Rapids, who gave her away in marriage traveled to meet her groom.There she was attended by another niece of both Mr. and Mrs. Whaley, Mrs. Annabelle Tryon of n Lake, and the groom's attendant was her nephew Harley Hillard of Jackson. The minister was another nephew, Jesse Hyack of Jackson, wearing a stove pipe hat and reading the service from a magazine,Several relatives and friends that could not attend the dinner called in the afternoon to wish them happiness for many more years.
