HUSBAND DIES SEPT. 14,IWIFE JUST HEARS NEWSBelated Telegram From Portland, Ore., Finally Reaches Mrs. M. C.Cahill.-Although Thoma., F Cahill died at Portland, Ore.. on September 14 last, the news did not reach his wife. Mrs. Mary C. Cahill, of 1 Grant place northwest, until yesterday^ A belated telegram announcing her husband s death reached Mre. Cahill after it had first he**n sent to Colonial Beach* where she spent apart|m of the summer.Mr. Cahill had * been ill for the last four years, but a recent latter receiv**d by a member of his family gave nomention of his death being imminent.i*pon receipt of the telegram telling of her husband’s death Mrs. Cahill immediately communicated with the authorities of Portland, and It is probable thatihA remains will be brought to this city for burial. The funeral arrangements have not been completed Mr. Cahill is survived by his wife and two sons, Walter Jerome and Thomas Francis Cahill, jr. * -1il
