at me school.fSister Athanasia Fond du Lac, DiesSister M. Athanasia, 84. Fonddu Lac, died at 11:35 last night in St. Clare hospital, where shehad been a patient the past two years. Cause of death was attributed to old age complications.Sister Athanasia was brought to the hospital here from the mother house. St. Agnes Convent, Fond du Lac, where she had been since her retirement.She had been in that religious order more than 50 years andhad taught primary grades inCatholic parochial schools.among which was the school at Carnegie, Penn.Sister Athanasia received her training at the convent in Fond du Lac.She was born in Munior, Kas., the daughter of the late Josephand Agnes Dechant Leiker.One brother, Joseph, Munjor, Kas., survives.The body was taken to Fond du Lac at 12:30 p.m. today from the Stuessy funeral home. Rev. Raymond Haas, St. Clare chaplain, and Sisters M. Olga. M.Ancilla and M. Angelita accompanied the body to the mother house. They will return tonight.A requiem high mass will be celebrated Friday at 8 am. in the convent chapel. It is expect ed that the convent chaplain willofficiate at the services. Burialu 11 be m St. Joseph s cemetery, Fond du Lac.
