Mrs. Hilda Klemme was honored with a big surprise party for her 80th birthday when Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Klemme had open house for about 150 well wishers. Guests from a distance included Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Burk* holder, Wheatridge, Colo., her daugh* ter Dorothy Pomplun of Denver, Mrs. Helen Iverson of Chicago, 111., Mr. and Mrs. Darell Sommervold of Ivanhoe, Mn. and their daughter Vicky Nicolas and granddaughter Sharmon of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Anna (John) Evjen of Sherburne, Mn.A beautiful 3 tiered birthday cake was baked by Mrs. Bruce Klemme, her daughter Dorothy and grandson Jim Pomplun brought a floral centerpiece, the granddaughters Gayle and LeAnn Klemme £ave Mrs. Klemme an orchid corsage and with additional useful and monetary gifts, including 3 ornamentalbrooches from Norway and a telephone call from Jim Pomplun and family.
