Fiathmann, pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church, will bring the Baccalaureate sermon.Dr. Carleton was born in Texas, and was educated at McMurry College, Southern Methodist University, University of Chicago and Boston University. Since ordination to the ministry of the Methodist Church, he has served pastorates in the Northwest Texas Conference until coming to Dallas from the First Methodist Church in Big Spring. He has been a member of the Northwest Texas Conference Board of Education, serving as its president for six years.
