J. L. Huckaby, principal of the Whitewright Negro elementaryschool, announces the closing exercises for the school will be on Friday, May 16; Sunday, May 18; Wednesday,1 May 21; Thursday, May 22, and Friday. May 23.The junior-senior banquet will be Friday night, the educational sermon Sunday. On Wednesday night an operetta, “Magic Gingerbread, will be given and on Thursday night, “Watermelon County Cote,” a play, will be staged. The graduation exercises will be on Friday night. May 23.
